DIRINGER & SCHEIDEL PIPE REHABILITATION GmbH & Co. KG is rehabilitating two DN600 sewage pipes with a gradient of 11 m and 9 m with the RS CityLiner system – as well as a collapse in the intermediate shaft. Before the rehabilitation, a fabric support hose was pulled into the pipes and a pre-liner was inverted therein. The impregnation of the approx. 50 m long needle-felt liners was carried out directly on site with the automatic dosing and mixing system, which enables exact dosing and air-free mixing of the epoxy resin components. The impregnated liners were cooled in a water bath and then wound up on a pressure drum. The inversion with air and curing with steam ensured a steady installation and curing pressure, despite a steep incline. The material samples taken from the rehabilitated pipe sections confirm the success of the renovation and indicate a watertight and statically stable new pipe inside the defective old pipe.
