Responsibility for environmental and consumer protection
Technologies for trenchless rehabilitation are becoming increasingly important in the public debate in German-speaking countries. Environmental protection and sustainability play an important role alongside the economic aspects. As a company, we are involved in numerous associations and federations in order to jointly promote developments in this field – in the interests of citizens and consumers – and to provide information.
In addition, RS Technik AG is involved in numerous committees and institutions that are committed to the further development and assurance of quality in pipeline rehabilitation, such as the Verein der Wirtschaft zur Förderung des IKT e.V. (Association of the Economy for the Promotion of ICT). The subject of qualification is a particular concern of the Technische Akademie Hannover (Technical Acadamy in Hannover).
RSV Membership
RSV is an association of companies and institutions in the field of pipeline rehabilitation (registered society). It represents the interests of the companies and, among other things, takes care of the development and maintenance of an up-to-date technical standard. Companies need to demonstrate certification to become a member of the RSV.
VDRK Membership
The Association of Pipe and Sewer Technology (registered society) is a founding member of the Community of Land Drainage and Test Organisation. The association promotes inter-company training as a specialist for pipe, sewer and industrial services.
Austrian Association for Trenchless Pipeline Construction (ÖGL)
The Austrian Association for Trenchless Pipeline Construction (ÖGL) (Österreichische Vereinigung für grabenlosen Leitungsbau) acts as a representative for providers and interested parties of this innovative construction method and as an intermediary between clients, planners and solution providers. The independent ÖGL association was founded in 1991 and has over 50 members, including leading Austrian specialised civil engineering companies, municipal companies, companies that benefit from the use of these technologies, manufacturers and dealers of construction elements and specialised machinery, as well as people from science and research. As a focussed representation of interests, ÖGL also offers a platform for the planning and client side, which is represented by important representatives of the supply and disposal industry as well as large private providers.

Sustainability and environmental protection
It is very important to us that our rehabilitation systems are sustainable, harmless and use environmentally friendly resins and components. Corresponding approvals and certificates ensure confidence in modern rehabilitation and repair technologies.
RS Technik supports the reforestation of damaged forests. Every 100 m of epoxy resin pipe liner, one square metre of climate-protecting forest is planted and maintained.
