Processing of personal data and purposes of processing when registering for events

As part of the registration for our event, some mandatory information must be provided. This includes

• First and last name
• E-mail address

Any further mandatory information is marked as such (e.g. by *). In addition, further details can often be provided voluntarily.

The mandatory data is processed in order to be able to identify the interested parties as participants in the event, as well as to process the contract for participation and to provide the participants with information about the event before, during and after the event.

The provision of voluntary data enables us to plan and carry out the event in a way that is appropriate to the interests and ages of the participants.

We will only use your e-mail address to inform you about similar events in the future if you have expressly consented to such use or if we have informed you separately about this when collecting your e-mail address and pointed out your right to object to this use at any time. If this use is not based on consent, the processing is based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in informing our participants about other events organised by us.

The data processing is carried out at the request of the interested participants and is necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the aforementioned purposes for the fulfilment of the participant contract and the pre-contractual measures.

The personal data collected by us for the event will be stored by us for a period of 12 months, unless you have consented to further storage in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO.

In the context of event registration via our web forms, we work together with the service provider Mailchimp. The purpose of the cooperation is the professional management of online registrations. We have concluded an order processing contract with Mailchimp. Through this contract, Mailchimp assures that they process the data on our behalf in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and ensure the protection of the rights of the data subjects. Images will be taken during the event. In the following, we inform you about the nature and purposes of the image recordings, the legal basis and your rights.

The images will be used for the following purposes: Presentation and advertising of our own services; references to other and similar events; our own print media and comparable publications; advertising purposes; public reporting on the event; public relations; use on our website; publication in social media.

Legal basis of the recordings: Overriding interests in the use of the recordings for the aforementioned purposes pursuant to Art. 13 p. 1 DSG or additionally pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f. DSGVO in the case of persons residing in the EU/EEA.

Information on image recordings by third parties: Image recordings may also be made by the participants of the event on their own responsibility. We ask participants to show mutual consideration for their personal rights. During the event, media representatives may be on site and take pictures on their own responsibility. Responsible person:
